Supervisor of Care Management
Seattle, WA


Bring your care management expertise to the following role:


 

  • Supervise care management professional and support staff.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of the care program.
  • Serve as a role model, mentor and resource for staff members.
  • Participate in the departmental strategic plan and budget development and promotes achievement of department goals consistent with corporate objectives.
  • Coordinate activities with external vendors, employer groups and other organizations that provide member care or services.
  • Assure that medically necessary, cost-effective quality care is delivered according to program specifications.
 
Job Requirements

Combine your health insurance experience with the following skills:


 

  • A Bachelor's (or higher) degree in a health-related field preferred.
  • Current RN, PA, or NP License or Professional certification in a clinical specialty; and minimum 5 years clinical practice experience.
  • Certification strongly preferred (required for case management).
  • 3 years previous supervisory experience required or relevant experience leading and managing teams.
  • Knowledge of health insurance industry trends and new technology.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Experience meeting external groups such as employers or provider groups.
  • Experience with population statistics and their application in care management programs.
  • Demonstrated problem recognition and resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage teams that work in multiple locations and via telecommuting technology.
