District Manager Trainee

Leslie’s Poolmart, the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool supplies, has an outstanding opportunity for a District Manager Trainee in the Atlanta area. In this dynamic position you will learn the Leslie’s retail operations, and subsequently oversee the performance of all Leslie’s stores in your district including sales plans, customer service, performance and operating standards, and all merchandising objectives.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • P&L performance in sales, gross margin, controllable expenses, and shrink.
  • Ensure standards for customer service are maintained at optimum levels.
  • Leadership development and succession planning.
  • Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements 

 

 

  • 3 - 5  years of multi-unit retail management at the District Manager level (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or marketing strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with demonstrated leadership characteristics 

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Computer proficiency

  • Candidates must be open to the possibility of relocation beyond training. (If needed)
