Job Description
We are looking for an individual who will consistently achieve revenue goals by marketing our brand and building sales. The individual must have a passion for customer service and be committed to create memorable events. Catering Manager Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Coordinates, plans, books and manages numerous daily events; works closely and cooperatively with staff, particularly with the General Manager in the planning and preparation of catering events.
• Creates and implements marketing strategies to support the company in reaching its overall goals and objectives.
• Develops sales plans in order to increase profits and sets performance goals accordingly.
• Produces marketing material such as brochures, sampling and presentations in order to attract new catering clients and promote the Earl of Sandwich Brand.
• Develops business contacts and maintains current business accounts through personal interaction; develops and maintains accurate, current database(s) contacts for mailings.
• Conducts market analyses to determine customer needs, market opportunities, new products and/or new concepts.
• Inspects the set-up of all catering orders, checking that each order is accurate.
• Monitors ongoing functions throughout assigned shift; ensures overall guest satisfaction.
• Maintains contact with the Management Team to ensure strong communication of sales initiatives.
• Produces new business through local business, planning groups and associations while maintaining a professional relationship with existing accounts.
• Will work in the restaurant on assigned days

• Strong commitment to guest service - both internal & external.
Requirements
• A minimum of 3-5 years as a Catering Sales Manager and/or Event planning in an up-scale restaurant or hotel.
• Must be proficient in Words, Excel and Power Point.
• Must have solid working knowledge of event planning support, food preparation and production
• Excellent Driving record
