• Ensure that the 787 processes as executed and verified comply with all customer requirements and that the applicable flow down requirements, purchase orders and other contractual agreements.

• Ensure site operations provided product meets customer and Boeing requirements.

• Accomplish quality process management through the use of preventive activities, such as: Quality Management System audits, product conformity audits, data trend analysis, and process improvement techniques
• Provide key leadership and administrative oversight to all subordinate Quality staff membership, including inspection and technical support personnel. Provide feedback guidance in support of career path development for all reporting personnel, including required PMP tasks

Manage the day-to-day activities of the Quality Engineering groups responsible for Shipside support including MRB, corrective and preventive action, and continuous improvement.

• This position oversees all quality engineering processes for assigned group.
• Coordinates the implementation of the Quality Management System across the organization with other QA, manufacturing, and support team leaders.
• Interprets and executes policies and procedures that affect organizational units.
• Recommends modifications to operating policies.
• Coordinates Corrective Action Boards and interfaces with operations management to facilitate continuous improvement and defect reduction.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required.
• At least 10 years experience in Quality.   Experience working to AS9100 standards.
• Experience with MRB, required.  Signature authority, preferred
• Composite experience – bonding, system assembly, and/or fabrication assembly.
• Ability to work any shift
• Experience managing a team of Quality Assurance Engineers.
• Excellent communication skills.
