Primary Responsibilities of an Automotive Sales Consultant:
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by explaining each models features and benefits and describing all optional equipment.
- Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
- Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; delivers automobile.
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories and attend product and sales training as required
- Maintain a prospect and owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Job Requirements for an Automotive Sales Consultant:
- Strong desire to succeed with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer’s expectations and achieve your goals.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus.Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Great attitude with a high-energy personality.
