Job Description

  • Review functional design

  • Prepare and execute test plans

  • Execute automated tests

  • Create and review test cases, conditions and/or scenarios



Job Requirements

  • eCommerce application testing experience is required

  • 5 to 7 years Experience in quality assurance and testing

  • 5 to 7 years experience testing a web-based ecommerce application

  • 5+ years experience using SQL query tools such as TOAD

  • Familiarity with UNIX

  • Good knowledge of XML

  • SQL and VBScripting required

  • Experience using a defect tracking system

  • Good understanding of release and quality management processes

  • Good understanding the projects full life cycle

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and testing skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Detailed oriented

  • Ability to recognize a problem and resolve with little supervision and know when to escalate an issue

  • Be self motivating while working independently and/or in a team environment

  • Ability to understand business requirements specifications and technical specifications

  • Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet project deadline, this could include non-standard hours such as evenings and weekends needs

  • Demonstrated experience using automated testing tools
