Sales Engineer

US Signal is the premier telecommunications infrastructure provider of network services, IP transport and colocation facilities in the Midwest. We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer.

Job Summary Telecommunications Sales Engineer.

This key team member will be responsible for providing technical/sales assistance to the US Signal’s channel partner program in the Indiana markets.

Functions/Responsibilities:

Recruiting and training new channel partners
Assisting channel partners with proposals, quotes, presentations and sales opportunities
Achieving a monthly sales quota

Requirements

Sales Engineer

Competencies:

Experience working with MPLS networks, IP networks, SONET technology and telecommunication terms.
Excellent communication and organization skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well with all areas of the US Signal organization as well as external customers and vendors
Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Experience/Education

The desired candidate will possess 5 + years in telecommunication technical sales.

Cisco CCNA certification desired. A BS/BA degree is a plus.
