Essential Job Functions
Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the building and maintenance of a professional development team. Researching, analyzing and working with leadership to create, implement and maintain professional SDLC processes and deliverables including; Technical Specifications, Code Standards, Code Reviews, Deployment Documents and Builds, etc. Also, the Development Manager will be responsible for the professional development of their team members including; time management, goals, training plans, team meetings, counseling, periodic and annual reviews, etc.
Technical Skills Required:
o .NET Visual Studio (C#), Team Foundation Server
o SQL Server including SSRS
o Preferred: SharePoint and/or BizTalk
Education: Engineering, Computer Science or MIS degree with development courses and/or 10 years of progressive
development leadership experience
Management experience:
o Team Development
o Professional development and coaching
o Multi-tasking and experience delivering large, business critical applications.
o Ability to oversee multiple priorities (new projects, production support, unplanned requests)
o Ability to delegate efficiently
o Ability to foresee risks across the team and proactively create mitigation plans
