Description Global company is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Account  Manager with Automotive Aftermarket and Technical Skills of Aftermarket Business to develop and service existing and prospective accounts.
Requirements
  • Makes outgoing sales calls to existing and prospective customers to aggressively grow sales and gain market share. 
  • Promote the company’s products; negotiate prices, terms/deliveries and other customer issues within defined guidelines.
  • Establish and implement growth plans for assigned accounts reporting progress regularly to management. 
  • Develops practical and profitable customer quotations within defined guidelines.
  • Monitors existing accounts, analyzes lost sales and takes proactive actions.
  • Obtain thorough working knowledge of company product line, key selling points and sales techniques.  Must be able to effectively describe product features and benefits, evaluate needs of customers and establish and maintain programs to best serve needs of customers and maximize sales.
  • Maintains detailed and accurate records and results of all calls.
  • Develops and maintains productive business and professional relationships based on the company’s structured telephone sales program.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of customer complaints and problems through effective interaction and follow through with internal departments.
  • Oversees assigned account base, ensuring proper customer service levels are maintained.
  • Provides input into maintaining adequate inventory levels based on increased sales volume and customer feedback, coordinating between customer and inventory planning team. 
  • Carries out assigned special projects and reports in a timely manner as directed by management.
  • Travels to trade shows and visits customers as required.

 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word and Excel. 
  • ERP Experience a plus.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or  three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
