Responsibilities - Business Account Manager:
At AT&T Business Solutions (ABS), we have a reputation for communicating powerfully and we use all types of communication to get the job done.
- Consistently meet/exceed voice/data revenue and quota targets and goals.
- Utilize solution selling and account management techniques to maximize the business relationship and opportunity with prospects and customers within a defined Module/ Account list.
- Responsible for new business, account penetration, development, and retention within account list defined as those companies with greater than 50 employees up to 100 employees.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to sell complex data solutions to existing customers and prospects across Module and Account list.
- Gain new customers through incorporating all applicable sales stimulation strategies, programs, and other targeting contacts, e.g. cold calling and prospecting.
- Submit daily/weekly call reports for prospects and existing account coverage including sales forecast to Small Business Sales Manager
- Prepare and present professional corporate business proposals and presentations to corporate business executives.
- Maintain frequent and personal contact with existing small business customers to build strong relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Business Account Manager
Requirements - Business Account Manager:
- Business Degree (Marketing major preferred) and/or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years successful sales experience preferably in the wireless, data and/or telecommunications industry.
- Proven ability to sell complex solutions, preferably wireless data.
- Experience selling in a cold calling environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, confident and aggressively seeks new business.
- Ability to use Microsoft suite
- Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance and reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market.
