Description Construction equipment company established for over 20 years seeks an Inside Sales Manager in Greenville, SC. Responsible to the Director Marketing/Sales, this position services construction companies, electrical and mechanical contractors and other businesses requiring construction tools, equipment and materials. 
 

Duties include:

  • Servicing incoming calls and entering/recording orders
  • Making phone sales calls
  • Assist customers and outside salesmen with technical information, pricing and entering orders.
  • Work closely with Operations/Inventory Control regarding technical specifications and item availability.
  • Develop a referral network to increase client base and maintain a customer database.
  • Responsible for the purchase of items as required to fill customer orders.
  • Resolve customer problems, issues or concerns
  • Assist occasional walk-in customers
  • Maintain records of and prepares reports for sales activities
  • Manage periodic advertising media; such as, weekly fax flyers
  • Other duties as required by supervisor

 

Requirements Required Skills/Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years construction tools and equipment experience (sales and/or on-site construction)
  • Must have at least one year of experience largely devoted to purchasing
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must be a team player
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of PC using MS Office products is a must.
  • Motivated, dependable, high-energy with the drive to perform well with minimal supervision

 

Candidate must be legally entitled to work in the US and immediately available to begin work in the Greenville area, able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
