We are seeking a proven successful sales professional who has the drive and energy to grow our business through new sales development. This position is based in Texas and will serve the Southern Region of the US.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of new business development and sales support for laboratories in Texas and Georgia. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
- Develop new business relationships for our company within the food industry, creating new clients as well as provide customer service to existing clients.
- Act as a consultant to customers by assisting them in achieving a maximum understanding of the technical services offered by the company.
- Be a resource to our customers as well as help address inquiries and bring resolution to customer needs.
- Perform within the sales metrics.
- Maintain immediate, short-term and long-term strategic action plans.
- Utilize proactive and progressive sales techniques to establish a pipeline of potential new customers and new targets in the industry.
- Incorporate direct and indirect marketing strategies.
