Operations and Finance Manager
About Us
The U.S. Industry Coalition (USIC) is a nonprofit corporate membership association of high tech businesses, associations, and research institutions who are actively engaged in technology commercialization in the service of global security, peace and prosperity. Through a USIC corporate membership, companies have access to a wide range of technology commercialization expertise and resources.
Responsibilities of Operations and Finance Manager
- Assists the USIC President in the monitoring of contracts administration and compliance; the development and preparation of annual budgets; monitoring of the organization cost management; management of the corporation’s accounting, fiscal, contractual and banking relationships; implementation and management of all internal office systems and procedures
- Responsible for recruitment, hiring and orientation of new personnel to corporate policies, procedures and benefits
- Responsible for the maintenance of all budget records; administrative files, contract s/subcontractors, vendors files
- Handle all account payables and account receivable procedures for all projects
- Provide administrative support to President, Vice President and BOD members including travel arrangements and travel expense review and preparation
- Responsible for facilitating all USIC’s audits
- Support the USIC President in the establishment and maintenance of a cooperative working relationship in the office
- Support USIC Management on special business/financial/operations tasks
- Supervision of employee as needed
- Other assignments as needed

Qualifications

Bachelors in Finance; Business Administration; Accounting or a related field; Masters degree is preferred.

Minimum of five years experience (with a Master’s degree, otherwise 7) in contract and grant administration and management; financial management and budget management; office operations management;

Experience in federal government contracting procedures;
-
Excellent quantitative analysis, communications, time management, team building and interpersonal skills;
-
High level of motivation, initiative and resourcefulness;
-
General knowledge of accounting and financial principles
-
Computer skills in Excel and MS Office;
-
Solid Organizational and administrative skills
