Job Description
Senior Staff Engineer - Power Electronics Engineer - Automotive Hybrid Vehicle Power Conversion - Power Electronics - high voltage, high current applications. Our client wants to expand their Power Electronics team with a senior staff engineer. Work will involve managing design and development of inverters, - work entails sizing of IGBT's, design of gate drive circuits and interface with related hardware for high voltage applications. Opportunity to work in the Alternative Energy field on a host of power electronics projects with a sharp engineering team. The client offers exceptional environment with a good size company that is growing with many new projects in process.

This opportunity is in Automotive Industry - working on a new generation of vehicles - candidates with prior experience in wind energy, solar energy or other industries are welcome. Our client will accept candidates who are US citizens as well as those with current H1B Visas.
 
Job Requirements

Senior Staff Engineer - Power Electronics Engineer - Hybrid Vehicles- Power Conversion - Power Electronics

 

  • BSEE or MSEE, other advanced degree will be considered a plus.
  • 5 to 10 Plus years experience in Power Electronics Products....work will have experience in working with IGBT's or Mosfets, Capacitor Selection, Gate Drive Circuits and more. Experience with power supplies, buck boost converters is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Motor Control is a Huge Plus - Please apply if you have experience with Motor control, including industrial drives and experience with space vector control will be strongly considered.
  • Knowledge of interface electronics such as DSP's, power supplies, current sensors etc.
  • Track record taking projects to launch.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in USA - US Citizens and Current H1B Visa.
