Description
One of the premier private club communities in Texas, Traditions Club, home to the Texas A&M Golf Teams, including the 2009 Men's National Champions, is seeking a best-in-class real estate sales executive to lead the community's developer homesite, golf casita and potential future new home sales. This is a commission-based position with significant income potential.
Located in dynamic Bryan, Texas and less than five minutes from Texas A&M University, Traditions Club and Community features a Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II designed golf course set amidst rolling terrain. With approximately 250 homesite sales to date and approximately 115 finished homes, Traditions is the only golf course and community officially sponsored and licensed by Texas A&M University.
Newly acquired by a group of Houston-based Texas Aggies, Traditions is on the move. A new $6 million, 21,000 s.f. clubhouse is now under construction and a bunker renovation program is underway. The golf course is the class of the Big 12 and a key recruiting tool for both the Men's and Women's Texas A&M Golf Teams.
Located immediately adjacent to the new 200-acre campus for the Texas A&M Health Science Center, Traditions will benefit from a portion of the estimated $1 billion economic impact the HSC will provide to the local market by 2010. Two high-rise office buildings are under construction for the HSC, with estimated occupancy in July 2010.
Current developer homesites are priced from the low $100's to over $200,000. Approximately 370 acres of additional development land are controlled by the new partnership, including additional estate homesites around the golf course and potential residential and commercial uses in both the city of Bryan and the city of College Station. Located less than two hours from Houston and approximately three hours from Dallas and San Antonio, Traditions sits in the middle of almost 13 million residents, many of them Former Students of Texas A&M who desire to retire close to their favorite university.
The successful candidate will preferably have proven experience in selling developer homesites in a premier, private club community and will utilize a disciplined sales approach to establish outreach programs with local realtors. The successful candidate will be able to further establish Traditions as the friendliest community in the Brazos Valley, will enjoy working within one of the most dynamic college environments in the United States, and will be capable of hiring and training additional sales professionals as warranted.
Additional accountabilities include:
- Becoming the leading market expert on Traditions as well as competitive communities within the Bryan/College Station market area;
- Developing sources of new business through referrals from existing residents and Members;
- Organizing and utilizing the company's existing database of real estate prospects;
- Involving the local realtor community in order to utilize their networked marketing capabilities on behalf of Traditions;
