                        UGNX Designers (Automotive)

 

Chassis, Body, Powertrain, Trim, Components, Wire Harness

 

  • Create drawings, layouts and 3-D models using UG NX-4 or higher
  • Participate in and lead design reviews
  • Mentor and lead lower classification Designers in design guidance, project documentation, adherence to established drawing and performance standards
  • Coordinate as appropriate with suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing, and other engineering personnel to develop the information required to complete assigned engineering projects
  • Use the appropriate quality tools including design requirement documents and design guidelines in developing designs.
  • Establish, read and apply GD&T to components and assemblies
  • Provide project status reporting

 

 

                        Requirements

 

  • 2 year degree in Engineering Technology or similar preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience in automotive design.
  • Vehicle experience required
  • UGNX -4 or higher experience required

 

                        Must be US Citizen or legal resident alien
