MedCentrix, Inc., a market leader in physician billing and practice support services has an excellent, full-time position open for an experienced Patient Account Manager to work at its expanding Central Business Office.
We seek a responsible individual with strong analytical and communication skills that will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all Patient Accounting functions for multiple client tax ID’s in the billing and collection of accounts; utilizes the computerized accounts receivable system (IDX/BAR preferred) to its maximum potential, knowledge of the healthcare industry and current federal/state regulations governing billing practices, proven skills in personnel management demonstrated by the ability to plan, organize, and manage staff and effectiveness in financial analysis and management control systems to enhance collections and optimize cost efficiencies required. Acts and advises other areas seeking information and direction pertaining to respective third party payer reimbursements, remains responsive to new developments, and performs related duties as assigned. Meets routinely with clients providing information relative to accounts receivable. Stays abreast of HIPAA billing standards and regulations for multi-specialty practices and incorporates process changes as needed into daily billing operation.
