Description Southwest Carolina Treatment Center, LLC is currently seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor and Clinical Supervisor to serve patients in our medication-assisted treatment program.  General schedule will be 5:00 am - 12:30 pm Monday - Friday and 7:00 am - 8:30 am on some Saturdays. 

*General duties include but are not limited to: 
Providing individual and group counseling to opioid dependent patients, case management duties including clinical documentation for patients on assigned caseload, entering documentation into company software, providing referrals for patients, coordinating patient care, providing referals to patients for other community services, completing assessments for new patients to determine if appopriate for treatment, participating in treatment team meetings, ensuring drug screens are collected as required, providing crisis-intervention services, as appropirate, adhering to Company policies & procedures and meeting deadlines, ensuring patient confidentiality, advocating for medication-assisted treament within the community.
*Duties will be significantly expanded if considered for role providing clinical supervision.

Requirements To be considered, candidates must have the following at a minimum:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Counseling or Human Service area (Master's preferred)
2. Valid driver's license or state id
3. Excellent interpersonal & case management skills
4. Ability to consistently meet deadlines 
5. Ability to act as an advocate for patients in medication-assisted treatment
6. Be a US citizen or provide proof of authorization to work in Unitied States

Preference will be given to candidates who are certified counselors (CACII, CACI, NCACI, NCACII, MAC, LPC, MSW, etc.) particularly those who are certified substance abuse counselors &/or certified clinical supervisors.  Prior experience in substance abuse treatment is a plus, but not required for consideration.
