Education Junior Foreign Service Officer
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State. Duties:
1. Education Program/Project Management and Administration Serve as a technical resource to foreign assistance activities in the area of education and development.
2. Education Program Planning
a. Develop education strategies and/or designs education programs.
b. Contribute to a broad range of educational program activities, including participation in the formation of policies and guidelines to further education activities.
3. Special Projects Perform duties related to special projects involving a variety of complex education program issues of significance to the sector.

Requirements
Qualifications:
A graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in a functional area directly related to international comparative education; education policy and administration; comparative, international and economics of education; social and comparative analysis in education; or intercultural education. Applicants with a related degree, such as international development, public administration or management, or social or behavioral science, must have completed it with an academic sub-concentration or specialization in international education. Applicants must have advanced degree at time of application.

· Ability to write persuasively and effectively in English.
· Ability to work in a developing country with limited modern conveniences.
· Knowledge of administrative support services.
