Job Description

We are looking for someone to develop high quality, comprehensive tests to validate leading edge entertainment software. 

We will hire someone who has about 5 solid years of software testing experience!

Are you someone with the ability to be both creative and detail oriented?
 

Do you thrive on the details of accurate technical writing?

Do you enjoy forging effective relationships with Project Managers, Engineers and Technicians who are all engaged in developing and testing world-class entertainment products?

Do you have experience gathering test requirements, documenting required testing, and providing test support to test technicians during test execution?

Do you know?

  • White box, black box, functional and regression testing
  • Testing of web-based and server applications
  • Test planning and how to ensure complete test coverage
  • Microsoft Word and other Office products

If so, this may be an opportunity for you. We are looking for someone with experience in all of these, as well as a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise the highest level of communication.



Job Requirements

Education/Experience

 

  • Engineer I: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering discipline; or at least 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Over 2 years experience in software testing.

  • Engineer II: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering discipline plus two years of related experience; or at least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Over 3 years experience in software testing.

Skills

  • Must have basic knowledge of software and software test processes, proven written/verbal communication skills, and be detailed-oriented.

  • Competencies include strong knowledge in how to analyze software and determine necessary test cases, and ability to organize and present information.

  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work proactively in a team environment.

  • Must be flexible, innovative, and able to prioritize in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
