Promoting Hope, Healing, and Wholeness
Philhaven is a non-profit behavioral healthcare organization offering a wide range of holistic services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults in south central Pennsylvania.
Since opening our doors more than 50 years ago, Philhaven has been dedicated to seeking solutions for one of humanity’s most basic, but most complex needs: how to live a mentally healthy life—one that’s balanced in the emotional, spiritual, and physical areas of life.
Philhaven provides a broad continuum of outstanding mental health services through various treatment programs for Adults, Children, Adolescents, Senior Adults, Businesses, Couples, Pastors and the Community.
Currently, Philhaven is seeking a full-time Licensed (LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist) Outpatient Therapist to work in our Ephrata Outpatient office. This position may also include some hours in our Lancaster office. Licensed Outpatient Therapists help to provide psychotherapy to patients experiencing mental, emotional, behavioral, or relationship distress or dysfunction.
Some of the primary duties of the Licensed Outpatient Therapist include:
- Providing psychotherapy to patients and their families utilizing a variety of treatment modalities including individual, family, couples, and group therapies. This includes working a minimum of two full evenings per week to meet the scheduling needs of patients who require evening appointment times. The therapist makes a complete and accurate 5 axis diagnosis for each patient in treatment and update that diagnosis as new diagnostic information comes to light.
- Providing case management services by correctly identifying the fees patients are responsible to pay and collecting those fees required for the client. Also, the therapist completes all necessary procedures and/or documentation for treatment authorization and for referrals.
- Completes and maintains complete and thorough clinical and administrative documentation.
