Dex, an R.H. Donnelley Company is seeking energetic, ambitious, career-oriented Marketing Consultants – Inside Sales (Telephone) to connect businesses and consumers through its broad portfolio of interactive and search engine marketing and print solutions. Small and medium-sized businesses look to our team of experienced marketing consultants to help them grow their companies by delivering qualified, ready to buy customers. Consumers depend on Dex’s reliable and trusted local business content to deliver the most relevant search results when they are seeking local goods and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Sell print, online and local search engine marketing advertising solutions and programs to existing and new business accounts. • Generally assigned a customer base which requires a daily close rate of somewhere around 2 advertisers per day. • Analyze and develop client advertising business strategies and provide valuable solution based advertising program recommendations. • Customers are contacted via Telephone Sales and are responsible for growing their revenue base. • Assigned New Connects or Non Advertisers and encouraged to bird dog accounts. • Primary objective is to grow their assigned print and digital revenue base, and Identify and convert New Connects or Non Advertisers to advertisers through business development and lead generation. • Work in a team-oriented environment to achieve business goals. • Meet deadlines while delivering exceptional customer service. • Accomplish targeted performance objectives.

 
BENEFITS: • Aggressive compensation: base salary with an established customer base, and unlimited commission potential. Strategic Selling Business to Business Sales Certification Training - 7 weeks of paid extensive sales and business advertising training; 4 of the 7 weeks of training wil be in Bellevue, WA or Denver, CO

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: • College degree preferred. • Minimum 1-3 years successful inside sales track record with documented results and/or achievements. • Demonstrate persuasiveness in selling a vision, direction and solutions through the use of strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to analyze and assess data to capitalize upon customer and market opportunities. • Exhibit a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do" attitude. • Maintain industry knowledge by keeping abreast of competing products, as well as e-commerce and search engine strategies, and other competitive intelligence. • Collaborate effectively to drive revenue and results. • Build and maintain trust relationships, demonstrating overall sensitivity to the needs of the business. • Excellent active listening skills. • Proficient to advanced Microsoft Office skills and windows based applications.
