Job Description 

Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a Full Time Physical Therapist for Mercer county schools and Outpatient Therapy and a Part Time Physical Therapist to work with students in Burlington County Schools-Pemberton School District. The Physical Therapist will work with students in the Mercer county school district and have a varied caseload and an excellent team, and a supportive manager.  We currently have several PTs in the district servicing children with developmental delay, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Genetic Disorders, and Autism.  Our therapists are very knowledgeable and supportive and they meet regularly to coordinate, discuss, and share information and ideas regarding the students. 

           

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing a patient examination in a technically competent manner. Evaluates clinical findings to determine diagnosis and outcomes of care.  Designs a plan of care that integrates goals, treatment, outcomes and discharge plan. Performs interventions in a competent manner.  Adapts delivery of care to reflect respect for and sensitivity to individual differences.  Adheres to ethical practice standards. Produces documentation to support the delivery of therapy services.  Communicates in ways that are congruent with situational needs. Addresses patient needs for other services.  Educates others using relevant and effective teaching methods.  Incorporates an understanding of economic factors in the delivery of services and maintains compliance with productivity standards of the department as specified in the staffing plan.  Uses support personnel according to legal standards and ethical guidelines.

Job Requirements 

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited physical therapy program and be licensed by the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy. Experience is preferred, but not necessary at entry level.
