We are currently seeking multiple Customer Service Reps for our clients in the Capital District (Albany, Schenectady, Latham, Troy, Clifton Park, etc.). These are active positions and can start as early as 11/16/09.  Candidates must have 1-2 years of previous experience working in an inbound/outbound call center environment.  Examples may include health insurance related, medical facilities, dispatching, child support services agencies, verifications, fund raising, collections, etc.  Recent College Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling internal and external customer inquiries via phone
  • Working towards weekly/monthly/annual goals
  • Receiving and handling up to 100 calls daily
  • Attend weekly/monthly staff meetings as required
  • Researching product or services inquiries based on client needs
  • Working within customer specific software packages as well as MS Word/Excel
  • Diffuse difficult customer interactions by demonstrating strong listening and empathy skills
  • Having a strong attendance record

 

 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years customer service or related experience
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Able to navigate computers effectively (MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Good listening skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Previous successful experience in an inbound call center environment handling over 50 calls per day
