Paramount LLC.  Located in the southwestern  suburbs of Chicago, is seeking a Business Development Manager who enjoys working closely with customers and managing the entire sales cycle. This job is a fit for a senior level sales professional with extensive contacts in the bottled water and/or beverage industry.  Paramount has developed an innovative new approach to distribution and dispensing of liquid beverages for commercial and residential use. Our markets are retail, grocery, home and business delivery and institutional.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years successful sales experience in these specific markets.  You must own an automobile and be willing to travel to client sites. In addition to an extensive list of contacts, we are seeking candidates with strong prospecting skills. Your connections in the industry will be required to assist in developing direct relationships with buyers, as well as build a network of independent sales representative organizations as needed to target key accounts and regions.

We encourage applicants who have a background selling in our target markets and are accustomed to working in a consultative partnership with all levels of a company, from CEO on down. The person in this position will be expected to immerse themselves in their market segment exclusively.

Candidates who provide a list of existing relationships within the markets of Grocery, Big box, Retail, Institutional will get first consideration. We do not expect details, but a high level mention of brand names.

Close qualified opportunities

    Ø     Present Paramount’s product as the unique solution to customers’ needs

    Ø     Close the business

Continually develop and propagate industry knowledge

    Ø     Network Events

    Ø     Continuous improvement of your own sales skills

Conduct post sale follow up

    Ø     Satisfaction with products

    Ø     Identify opportunities for additional offerings

    Ø     Obtain referrals from client
