Description

Overview: Sell Automotive Differential products to wholesale establishments and/or individuals over the telephone via Inbound Calls: Retail Queue, Wholesale Queue, and Direct extension calls AND Outbound Calls: to prospective and existing customers.


Job Purpose (including, but not limited to):

·         Handle inbound sales opportunities and convert into sales by presenting solutions, and answering technical and sales questions for prospective customers.

·         Investigate and resolve customer problems with orders and/or deliveries providing outstanding customer service.

·         Continue to grow and increase product knowledge and sales skills.

·         Bring new customers on board as well as build relationships with current customers via inbound and outbound calling.

·         Establish and maintain regular contact with customer base in order to meet customer needs and maximize long term sales/gross profit margins and market penetration goals.

·         Comfortable using the following tools on a continual basis: Computer, Telephone, 10 Key Calculator, Copier, and Fax Machine.

 

Education and/or Experience:

·         2 yr. college diploma or certificate; or at least 2 years related training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

·         Able to type at a rate of 55 wpm.  Must be proficient with Outlook/Office software.

·         Sales and customer service experience; cold calling experience a plus.

·         Ability to process computer data to format and generate reports.

·         Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

·         Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing practices, including add-on sales and closing skills.

·         Analytical capacity to define prime target accounts and develop a consistent plan of engagement.
