Albin Engineering Services, Inc (www.aesi.com) has an immediate need for a Director of Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate will manage a global Quality Assurance department and apply industry best practices to ensure quality in all next generation video and digital audio products. The candidates responsibilities include growing the QA functional maturity level by establishing the QA processes, selecting and deploying software test tools, metrics, building and maintaining test and compatibility labs, and working with outside test labs and improving efficiency synergy and of various global QA personnel.

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure QA processes and metrics are in place to ensure sufficient test coverage of product requirements and to ensure production readiness
- Manage a global QA department and budget
- Centralize and synergize existing global QA personnel to ensure consistent best practices and efficiency at all Dolby geographical locations
- Ensure the QA staff are properly directed and skilled in industry best practices
- Provide a QA team that is efficient and agile to accommodate planned as well as spurious demands
- Ensure that the QA Staff is equipped with tools, equipment, and lab space necessary to efficiently perform their duties
- Work with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support functional managers to establish a global process and tools for bug reporting and tracking
