JOB DESCRIPTION
SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Summary Statement:
The Sales people are the direct day-to-day point people of contact between Kehe Foods and its retail customers. He/she is accountable to perform all service, marketing and merchandising activities in his/her assigned sales territory.
Position Accountabilities:
Provide high quality service to the assigned sales territory as required to meet specific store needs and expectations. This includes writing orders, routine display/shelf presentation, and timely processing of returns and damaged product for credit
Perform minor product resets and display installations to meet store needs and expectations
Identify, present, and sell to store management, opportunities to increase store sales through substitution of slow-moving items with alternative products
Identify, recommend, and perform product demonstrations as appropriate
Present promotional selling opportunities and sell to store management
Identify stores in the sales territory that are not current customers and follow up on these opportunities
Monitor competitor activities in the sales territory, recommend paths forward to increase Kehe profitability, and follow up on these opportunities
For assigned “stocking stores”, hire and manage stockers as appropriate
Follow established Kehe policies and procedures to accomplish the above accountabilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience and Training:
Minimum two to five years years experience in Sales
Grocery sales or Grocery store is required.
Ability to perform repetitive bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds, sometimes in crowded quarters
Working knowledge of computer software, including but not limited to word processing and spreadsheet applications
Must be available to work flexible hours, including some weekends
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.b>Key Competencies:
