Our client is a well known manufacturing company (you see their products EVERYWHERE) and is the leader in the U.S. market place. They have an immediate need for an experienced Cost Accountant for one of their division headquarters. .

This is a newly created position that will report to the Cost Accounting Manager. In this role you will be involved with:

Playing a key role in cost reduction programs

Inventory monitoring and analysis

Revising standards on a yearly basis

New product cost development

Commodity price tracking and analysis

Expense forecasting for the annual budget

They are looking for someone with their B.S. in Accounting and 5+ years manufacturing cost accounting background.

Experience with PPV, standard development and Sales and Margin analysis by product and distribution line required.

Strong communication skills required. They are looking for someone that has the potential to move up into higher level roles.
