Job Description:
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with the following:
· Directing customer service activities providing timely, professional and courteous service.
· Training customer service personnel, and monitoring their performance.
· Handling customer issues personally to assure excellent relationships.
· Regularly contacting customers to assess performance and customer’s satisfaction.
· Assuring that all documentation is produced correctly and in a timely manner
· Maintaining computer system and resolving problems utilizing technical support personnel.
· Assuring new customer’s products and billing parameters are accurately set up in the WMS.
· Assuring proper documentation for all special service requests
· Handling discrepancies and assuring that the customer is satisfied with performance.
· Working with other departments to recommend necessary changes to improve service
· Coordinating service requirements with other operational departments
· Assisting customer service personnel with non-routine matters.
· Supervising input of physical inventory data and performing reconciliations.
· Preparing monthly billings in an accurate and timely manner.
· Possessing knowledge of all rate schedules for proper invoicing to our customers.
· Establishing work schedules to meet customer service goals
· Maintaining proper discipline in accordance with established policy.
· Handling hiring, performance evaluation and disciplinary or discharge actions.
· Working closely with senior management on all Human Resources issues
Requirements
Job Requirements:
· Associates Degree or equivalent experience
· Minimum 5 years office supervisory experience
· General knowledge of warehouse operations
· Experienced in 3PL office, billing and customer service functions
· Knowledge of computer software, such as WMS, MS Word, and Excel.
· Excellent skill in problem avoidance/resolution and written/oral communications.
· Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
