Job Description

REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

SunBridge Healthcare., a leading long term care provider, is seeking energetic human resources professionals to join our Regional Team for our Alabama Region.  The Regional Human Resource Director position reports to the Senior Director of HR for the South East division and serves as strategic business partners to field operations. The scope of the consultative duties includes providing guidance, direction, education and coordination of human resource activities in field locations.

 

Some of the key areas include:

• Effective recruitment and selection,
• Orientation,
• Employee relations and human resources management programs,
• Conflict resolution,
• Retention initiatives,
• Training and development,
• Labor relations,
• Compliance and training with applicable state and federal laws,
• Performance and productivity,
• Wage and benefit administration, and
• Safety and worker’s compensation

This position requires 60-80% travel, with some overnight. The qualified candidate MUST reside in the state of Alabama.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following professional experience and educational requirements:

• Five (5) years of recent consulting experience in human resources management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of state/federal employment and labor laws.
• Experience with partnering with operations to achieve business outcomes.
• The ideal candidate will also possess human resources experience in a multi-site, healthcare environment.
