A local client is in need of a
SQL Server Reports Developer for a minimum of a 6 month contract that will for the right individual, most likely be a contract-to-hire. The primary role of the developer will be SQL report development utilizing Report Server 2005, developing stored procedures and some file transfer and data manipulation.
Qualified candidates must have strong SQL Server Database experience utilizing SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005. Previous Oracle Database experience is also required. This client is currently on Oracle release 11i but earlier Oracle Database experience will be accepted.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years experience working with SQL Server and developing SQL Server Reports
• Prior Oracle Database experience, preferably 11i but earlier versions are acceptable
• A solid understanding of relational databases
• Good communication skills, both written and oral, to work with both technical and
business associates.
Skills desired but not required:
• Prior Oracle PL/SQL development experience is a plus but very little work will be done using PL/SQL
• Database design and implementation experience is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with web page development for report dissemination is a plus
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor degree in business, computer science or related field is preferred.
