JOB TITLE:  Plant Maintenance Manager, Bottled Water Plant

 

JOB LOCATION:  This job is for IRAQ Only -Employees do not go into the civilian areas but will only stay in the US secured bases and will travel to Iraq from Kuwait via US military or charter plane and also travel from the sites in Iraq with air transportation only.

MISSION: AMD needs a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Manager.  AMD operates 6 water bottling facilities for the US Military in Iraq.  AMD has offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kuwait, and Iraq and employs individuals from the US, Canada, Australia, Romania, Mexico, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Kuwait.

REPORTING TO:  Plant Manager


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·         Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance program (CMMS).

·         Manage efficient equipment operations.

·         Train and direct maintenance staff.

·         Maintain parts program and inventories.

·         Manage Blow molding operation (Sipa).

·         Back up for Plant Manager.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES:

 

·         Daily equipment monitoring.

·         1.2 Meg generator monitoring and reporting.

·         Develop mechanics in proper troubleshooting mechanical and electrical techniques.

·         Schedule mechanic R&R to minimize plant interruptions.

·         Insure proper operation of Reverse Osmosis.

·         Schedule and verify proper preventative maintenance for plant equipment and forklift    operations.

·         Order parts and maintain parts inventory program.

Requirements

 

·         Minimum of 10 years hands on experience in a food or bottling plant (FDA regulated).

·         Bottled water experience a PLUS

·         5 years Blow molding and or injection experience.

·         Strong electrical and mechanical trouble shooting abilities.

·         Strong preventative maintenance background. (CMMS)

·         Refrigeration experience helpful.

·         Parts ordering and inventory experience.

·         Ability to multi-task.

·         Detailed oriented.
