We are a magnet-designated academic teaching hospital that is world Re-known for clinical excellence. Our hospital utilizes emerging technology and leads the area in experimental treatment protocols for our patients.  We are known for our cutting edge cardiac research and providing patient care with a team-based approach in a state-of-the-art facility.

We are looking for a Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join our pain management team. Your clinical role as a pharmacist for our hospital will include: 

-Providing medication therapy management in support of acute and chronic pain management employing all dosage forms and levels of drug delivery, (such as epidural, IV, IV patient-controlled analgesia, transdermal and oral).

-You will process and dispense medication orders, oversee support staff and provide drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other team members within the pharmacy.

Requirements Qualifications for this position include: 

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree with advanced training in Pain Management and Palliative Care with one of the following criteria below:

-Pharm.D. and PGY1 Residency plus at least 2 years of experience in Pain Management
-PGY2 Residency is Pain Management and Palliative Care. 

You must have your pharmacist license in the state of Maryland or able to reciprocate your license to the state of Maryland in a timely manor.
