Great Opportunity for Formulations Chemist with Industry Leader!

Global leader in the development of pharmaceuticals and specialty chemicals seeks an Applications Engineer to support the company's line of excipient chemicals.  The Applications Engineer will develop and model performance characteristics and practical applications for existing and new products at customer sites in the U.S. and at foreign sites.  He or she will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to improve existing products and develop new product opportunities.

• M.S. or PhD in chemistry or physics or a B.S. or M.S. in chemical engineering or pharmacy
• 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical dosage in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with drug development
• Hands on experience in measurement of powders, powder blending, compressibility, flowability
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively at customer sites, both in a laboratory environment and on the manufacturing floor
• The ability to travel 30-50%, both domestic and international
