Requirements

Mercy Hospital & Medical Center is currently seeking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner for our Bariatrics Surgical Center Candidate must have the following: Illinois RN license or license eligible required; Current APN license in the State of Illinois required; Master's degree in Nursing required; Certification as an advanced practice nurse; 5-7 years of clinical experience; Experience in Bariatric Surgery programs preferred; Ability to do or learn to do band fills for Lap Band patients; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong empathy for those dealing with issues of morbid obesity.
