Description
Director of Marketing
Position Responsibilities
Develop and direct firm’s overall marketing strategy and programs and corporate communications. Facilitate customer development through marketing and customer services programs.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Develop, implement, facilitate and evaluate annual corporate and departmental marketing plans.
2. Oversee all marketing, advertising, web design/maintenance and events staff and activities.
3. Plan and administer the Marketing Budget.
4. Project Management – Facilitate project scope, deliverables and plan timelines. Provide training, direction and support to creative team in managing their projects.
5. Oversee corporate communications activities including internal and external communications and systems, public relations efforts, external vendors and consultants
6. Develop, administer and evaluate marketing research and data related to customers, vendors and competition.
7. Assist with and support company’s involvement in various community networks including coordinating business development and marketing activities via these relationships.
8. Plan and supervise all corporate marketing and training events.
9. Develop, administer and evaluate electronic and social marketing plan including supervision of web site design/maintenance.
Requirements
Education: College degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred.
Experience: At least five years in marketing director role within sales and distribution environment. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; marketing management and strategic planning experience; a proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program.
Required Skills: Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization. Polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management, strategic planning, analytical, and facilitation skills.
