Registered Nurse/Staff Development

Broomall Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, has a great opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic and dynamic Registered Nurse to work in our Education Department.  This positon supports the philosophy, practices, objectives and standards of the Department of Nursing and participates in the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality care to all residents and compliance with State and Federal regulations.  Additional responsibilities include: developing, implementing and conducting the facility's employee orientation as well as regular in-servicing of nursing service personnel and other facility staff. 

This position will provide clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process; incuding assessment of workforce technical skills by observation of various nursing procedures and assessment  of workforce technical skills by oberservation of various nursing procedures and assessment of nursing judgements made in specific situations to determine staff competence and to identify staff knowledge and performance deficits.  The successful candidate will serve as a member of facility committees as specified and must be able to cooperate and work well with others.  The successful candidate must also be capable of planning and completing job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgement.
