We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Segment Manager to oversee sales and marketing activities in our floor sanding product line.

Abrasive Sales: Floor Sanding Segment Manager


Our U.S. operation is based in Charlotte, NC. This position is based out of our Charlotte, NC location and requires significant nationwide travel.
Requirements
Segment Manager is responsible for:

• Growing sales in our floor sanding segment
• Increasing sales through existing distributors
• Training distributor's sales staff on our product line
• Technical support to distributors and end-users
• Support and training for end-users and distributors in all abrasive application areas

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in sales to the floor sanding industry or wood related coated abrasives applications.
2. Result oriented and highly organized .
3. Ability to present technical solutions to distributor's customers in formal and informal presentations.
4. Knowledge of wide variety of coated abrasive applications and ability to define correct product and process to improve customers’ efficiency
5. Ability to manage and support sales staff.
6. Ability to create and implement marketing and promotional campaigns.

Miscellaneous:
Travel 2-3 weeks per month
