CIBER, Inc. in Memphis, TN has an opportunity for a Memphis based Business Development Manager with proven sales success in the IT consulting industry selling project-based services, outsourcing, and strategic staffing. We are looking for a seasoned professional that has demonstrated the ability to create and cultivate solid business relationships with C & VP-level executives. You need the ability to create and sell locally delivered solutions, comprehend and leverage nationally supported solutions, a great work ethic, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the common goals of this company.
· Minimum of 5 years experience of selling IT consulting services, or total software solutions including software and professional services in Memphis area.
· Must have Bachelors or Masters Degree
· Experience selling several or all of the following solutions
o Application Development (Web solutions, others)
o Application Integration
o SOA
o Application Support / Application Outsourcing
o Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Solutions
o Strategic Staffing Solutions
o Package Application Implementations (ERP, CRM, Supply Chain)
· Experience in selling to CIOs, IT Directors and IT Managers in the Memphis marketplace
· Good at prospecting and new account/new territory development
· Use a solution sales methodology or approach
o Work first to understand customers business and needs and then align solutions
· Experienced with team selling as well as being able to work independently
· Good at proposal writing-Develop and present proposals that convey business need and client benefit
· Good Presentation skills, excellent verbal communication skills
· Experienced user of PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel
· Excellent aptitude and strong desire to learn
· Self motivated, goal oriented, competitive
· Must have excellent manager & client references to verify work practices
Ideally, this person will have an extensive history selling in the Memphis market through long term, established relationships.
