Are you looking to excel as a manager in a fast paced/client driven environment?? We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage our busy Distribution facility in Portland, OR.
The ideal candidates for this position will posses a minimum of 3 years of successful management experience (preferably in a manufacturing/ distribution environment), proven team building skills, the ability to adapt to a rapid environment and analyze processes, great computer skills (MS Office tools) and strong client and employee relations. You must also be energetic and present great attention to detail and organization skills. Distribution experience and high tolerance to stress is a plus!
In this position, most of your time will be spent interacting with our client, maintaining the rapport with client and the management team, as well as with the local community, and you must remain focused on strategic planning and forecasting. 50% of your time will be spent on the floor with the client and your employees.
Additional Responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager
- Managing day-to-day interaction with client, including daily information flow, problem solving, process improvements, reporting and direct management of the office team
- Provide immediate front line customer service to management team, associates and clients
- Make associate hiring and firing decisions
- Handle order requests and changes from client contacts
- Handle associate relations activities, communications, and investigations
- Manage the facility Recruitment Funnel by placing advertisements, interviewing and placing employees in the production floor
- Work on special projects and performance incentive programs to help meet operational goals.
- Provide Site reports to Director Level such as forecasting, financial and trend analysis, recruiting, strategic planning and site action plans.
- Manage the office budget
- Manage our busy warehouse/distribution facility and the staffing needs
- Ensure compliance with contract related services, interviewing, orientations, payroll and invoicing.
We are currently hiring for First and Second Shift, however you must be flexible to work outside your standard Schdule. We are offering up to $50,000 plus an excellent benefits package
Requirements
- Minimum of High School/GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years proven management and leadership experience
- Experience in a warehouse/distribution/manufacturing environments
- Multi-site, large team management experience is required
- Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office proficient, Excel, PPT and Word)
- Strong client centered service delivery and impeccable client relation skills required
- Demonstrated verbal, written communication and presentation skills
