We transport commodities throughout the continental United States and into and out of portions of Canada. We also transport general commodities into and out of Mexico by allowing through-trailer service from our terminal in Laredo, Texas. Our Third Party Logistics and Freight Brokerage divisions and our Container-on-Flat-Car Intermodal service offerings provide customized transportation solutions using our technology and multiple modes of transportation including the assets of our partner carriers.

Job Description

The Fleet Manager’s main function is to manage assigned drivers in a manner to meet company goals and objectives within DOT regulations.

They must:

  •   Know and gain a working knowledge of USA Truck, Inc. policies and procedures, and understand how to properly administer them.

  • Meet training requirements in order to optimize professional growth and achieve company goals and objectives.

  •  Maintain a professional attitude with drivers, and with colleagues throughout the company.



Job Requirements

 

All employees must have a minimum of three Essential Job Functions.

 

 

  • Exceed Loads per Truck per Week 

 

  • Exceed Fleet Loaded Miles per gallon goal 

 

  • Exceed Fleet Retention goal

 

  •  Exceed Fleet Safety goal (accidents per million miles, fleet specific)

 

  • Exceed Fleet customer service goal

          1)      Pick up on time percent

          2)      Delivery on time percent
