Description Reporting to the Wellness Program Manager, the Optimal Health Coach promotes, supports and engages working individuals in developing healthy lifestyles. The Optimal Health Coach has an educational foundation in behavior change techniques which are designed to target and reduce lifestyle related health risks and to provide appropriate health education to reduce those factors. The Optimal Health Coach provides health promotion and wellness services to clients both telephonically and in the workplace.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of principles of health behavior change
Energetic, positive individuals with excellent communication skills
Willingness to be trained in the Health Solutions Ltd Health Coaching Methodology
Experience and proficiency with using Microsoft Office programs
Minimum 2 years experience in health coaching, health promotion and wellness
Minimum 4 year Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion, Health Education
Additional qualification considered as an asset include:
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
- Smoking Cessation Facilitator
- Health Educator
