Vice President - Risk Manager

Responsibilities

·        Develop organization-wide Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) culture

·        Provide guidance in strategic planning for the bank

·        Develop & oversee Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) section 404 implementation and management

·        Be the primary resource for executive management on SOX, regulatory, compliance and operational risk management

·        Provide direction and leadership for the Compliance-BSA Officer, Internal Audit department and Information Systems Security

·        Facilitate audit reviews and reporting

·        Report on all relevant issues to the Board, the CFO and EVP

Requirements

Qualifications

·        Five or more years experience in a similar role at bank – non-bank candidates will not be considered for this position.

·        Familiarity with bank regulatory reporting requirements

·        Skilled in statistical modeling

·        Ability to lead and manage staff

·        Must exhibit a strong understanding of financial and economic fundamentals
