Compensation: $100K-150K (includes commission)

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for all commercial / sales activities within his/her assigned region, as it relates to the products & services offered within the Healthcare Products Division and within the medical market segments as defined by management.

Responsibilities

 

  • The RSM is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the annual sales plan and year-over-year growth targets as defined by management
  • Identify target opportunities and/or accounts, as well as developing and implementing a strategy to maintain a sufficient sales pipeline needed to achieve the strategic growth targets and initiatives as defined by management
  • Identify new opportunities, then driving and managing those opportunities / programs (as needed internally and/or externally) to commercialization
  • The RSM owns the customers within his/her region, and is responsible for taking ownership of those customers to ensure that a positive customer relationship is maintained and customer satisfaction is achieved
  • The RSM is responsible for delivering requests for new business opportunities through the "Request for Quotation" system. The focus is on the uncovering, initiating and submitting from new and existing customers defined new opportunities in the form of a Request for Quotation (RFQ)
  • The RSM is responsible for communicating and reporting activities, itineraries, regional strategies, program developments, etc. as defined by management
  • The RSM is responsible for participating and providing support to trade shows, sales meetings, and other sales-related functions as requested and/or defined by management
  • Communication and Reporting on territory pre-planning, weekly sales reports, monthly sales results, competitive activities

 

Requirements
  • Ten years of sales experience in Contract Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical Markets
  • Technical Knowledge of Medical Device Manufacturing with Elastomer and/or Thermoplastic Materials required
  • Four-Year Business, Technical, or Related Degree. MBA in Marketing is a big plus.
  • Strong Communication Skills (Oral & Written)
  • Strong Computer Skills (Communication, Presentation, and Reporting)
  • High Level of Customer Focus & Self Initiative
  • Self Managed (capable of working from remote location with limited supervision)
  • Strong Relationship Skills / Team Player (internal & external)
  • 60% Travel Required (utilizing effective travel practices)
