Description Our client, a leading worldwide provider of vital services to the oil & gas, transportation and other industries, has an immediate opening for a Sales/Business Development Manager for their American division located in Houston.
Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing strategic sales and business development plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly
  • Delivering sales/business development presentations to key clients in coordination with Sales Account Managers
  • Acquiring new clients; meeting with key clients, while maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Representing the Company at trade association meetings, conferences, and seminars to promote products
Qualifications Include:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • At least eight years’ sales and business development experience with at least five years in sales management or business development in a field related to our client's business
  • Strong knowledge of industry specific software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • The ability to travel up to 50%
