Job Description
Client, a mid sized chemical company, seeks a Plant Safety and Health Manager who will be responsible for providing leadership by:

  • Establishing site safety and health goals and monitoring progress towards these goals.
  • Working with local and corporate management to assure plant policy compliance.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of new standards across the company.
  • Leading development and implementation of plant training.
  • Lead incident investigation teams and implement corrective actions.
 
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Safety, Health or a closely related field and 5+ years of experience in a chemical or closely related facility working in the Safety and Health areas.  CSP (Certified Safety Professional) preferred.
