Description Our growing client in the Construction Industry is seeking an Construction Job Cost Accountant/ Project Accountant to aid the Controller in the Job Cost & Construction Project accounting process.

 
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
• Complete general ledger maintenance for construction projects.
• Create forecasts and budgets for construction projects
• Create owner and subcontractors’ schedules of values 
• Manage subcontractor setup and requirements. 
• Analyze detail of job cost transaction reports. 
• Job cost maintenance. 
• Track subcontractor payments, lien waivers and account balances. 
• Create cost issues as needed for budget maintenance 
• Create change orders based on information given by project manager. 
• Manage credit accounts for jobsite. 
• Collection of time tickets from Project staff and process of weekly payroll. 
• Schedule and Coordinate the timely receipt of pay applications with subcontractors and suppliers. 
Requirements

MUST HAVE 5+ years of Construction Job Cost and Project Accounting Experience

BS/ BA in Accounting or Finance

CPA/ MBA STRONGLY Preferred
