Description Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN

The LPN will be responsible for providing in-house nursing care for the inmate population. Services include treatment and / or administration of medications as directed by the physician. Upon completion of treatment or administering medication, prior to leaving, the LPN will provide a documented report in the inmate's medical record.
The LPN shall adhere to all standards and regulations associated with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and American Correctional Association Foundation / Core Standards for Adult Correctional Institutions. The following schedules are available:

Two Shifts (LPN's) working 7:00am to 3:30pm seven (7) days a week.

Two Shifts (LPN's) working 3:30pm to 11:30pm seven (7) days a week

One additional shift (LPN) for 40 hours

Requirements

Must have a current valid unrestricted license to practice Licensed Practical Nursing in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, The Commonweath of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.s. Virgin Island.

Must be able to work in the United States.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Free from Infectious Disease

CPR Certified

Must be able to pass mandatory criminal background check and drug test
