Description
ProHealth Care, a regional critical & primary care provider that ranks among the most technologically and clinically advanced community health care systems in the country, is seeking a Senior HRIS Specialist to evaluate, analyze, design, and improve company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role acts as the project leader for new systems development and conversions; identifies new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs; makes alterations to existing programs to gather and report data as necessary; acts as a liaison to Information Systems and Finance staff to represent the interests of all Human Resources functions and coordinates the design, education, communication, and start-up of new HR systems.
Specifically, the HRIS Specialist – Senior:
- Designs systems, in cooperation with IS and HR, including the rollout/training to end-users, within budgets and timelines.
- Leads projects, such as HRIS software redesigns, installs, and upgrades.
- Conducts process mapping of all HR activities, and makes recommendations to change, automate, or improve the existing processes.
- Works with IS to create an environment where HR staff can access data and reporting needs themselves.
- Ensures systems quality and data accuracy.
- Utilizes appropriate software report writing tools to produce customized reports.
- Utilizes established design guidelines in programming new system features.
- Provides one-on-one and group support to HRIS users.
- Administers HR systems security to ensure timely functionality for users.
- Effectively uses MS Office programs.
- Continually adapts and is able to learn new procedures and software programs.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and 5-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrated project management and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide, in user-friendly terms, sound ideas and solutions to end users on HR systems-related projects, tasks, reports, etc.
- Ability to work with varying levels of management.
